Your point is well taken. I must say, however, that it is not realistic. I wish we had the money to buyout Croom's contract...but we don't. We 17ed ourselves on that deal and now we are stuck with the walrus. Even though Croom is the head coach, it is the coordinators job to design and operate the offense. Croom gives his thumbs up to his buddy ol' pal without disagreement on any play call. In actuality, that is even more scary because it is solid proof that he will not do anything to jeopardize McCorvey's job.
With that said, firing McCorvey would reap positive results in my opinion. If we could get someone in here that knows more than.."up the middle, up the middle, incomplete pass, punt" we will win more games.
Poor Cheese and our Defense. Hats off to those guys. What an outstanding show of heart and effort.
