I think I have every tiebreaker figured out.

I am bored and once I started looking at this I could not stop. I present to you the "I think this is right SEC Tournament prediction."



With every team
having two games left to go, it is coming into pretty clear shape.
While it is easy to presume that Kentucky will be 1 West, it’s not clinched
yet, and as we saw in Knoxville, Columbia and Athens today, anything can
happen.



West:

MSU is the one
seed. Man it feels good typing that, aGAIN.



Arkansas and UM
are battling for the 2 and the Thursday bye.If Arkansas goes 2-0 against UT and UM, they will be the two. Same with
UM obviously. Arkansas is sitting pretty
good on the tiebreakers. They already have a win over UM, so if they are both
8-8, Arkansas wins the tiebreaker by virtue of either a sweep, a better
division record, or a win over MSU. Looks
like UM needs to win both games or, if they lose to LSU and beat Arkansas, hope UT also beats Arkansas in Knoxville to be 2
West.



Auburn cannot
finish second, but could be third. They MUST have two wins to do this. With
wins over MSU and at Bama, they would be 7-9. If UM finishes 7-9 with them, UM would
be the three. If they finish 7-9 with Arkansas, Auburn would win the tiebreaker
and be third with Arkansas fourth (they split, but AU would have a better
division record.) Any other scenario and AU cannot be third. 



If Auburn is not
the three, they could drop to five. If
they finish tied with Alabama, Bama will win the tiebreaker.



LSU is 6 West of
course.





In the East, it’s
kind of three groups of two and will probably be very clear after the midweek
games.



UK all but has 1
East wrapped up. They need one more win or one Vandy loss to clinch it. Because
UK swept Vandy, the Dores would have to have two wins and two UK losses to be 1
East. UK can be no worse than 2 East.



Vandy is second
with one more win, or one loss each for UT and UF.



UT and UF are
tied but only UF can be 2 East. They have to be 11-5 to do this since Vandy is
already 11-3.



If they all go
11-5, Vandy would be 2 East, UF 3, and UT 4.If there is a two team tie between
Vandy and UT, Vandy wins that too and is 2 E and UT is 3. However if the tie is with UF at 11-5, then
UF would win the tiebreaker at the third level based off the win over UK next
weekend. So UF would be the two, VU the three and UT the four.



If Florida and UT
tie for third at 11-5 (with Vandy at 12 wins), Florida would be the three deep
into the tiebreakers. They split, and would have the same division record, and
would both have a win over UK. UF would own a win over VU while UT would not.



If UF and UT finished
tied at 10-6 or 9-7, UT wins the tiebreaker.



UGA and USC are
fighting for 5 East. UGA has the inside track, with LSU left on the schedule
and most of the tiebreakers in their favor. UGA has UK at home and at LSU. USC
has Bama at home and at Vandy.



If they both win
out and finish 7-9 (highly unlikely), UGA is 5 East.

If they both lose
out and finish 5-11, UGA is 5 East.

If UGA finishes
6-10 with a win over UK, they are 5 East.

If they finish
tied at 6-10 with UGA losing to UK, and USC beating Bama but losing to VU, UGA
is the 5.

If they finish
tied at 6-10 with UGA losing to UK, and USC beating Vandy but losing to Bama,
USC is the 5 because of the win over UK (both would have a win over VU if VU
happened to win the East).

Now all we have to do is wait till the last two games are played, and all things will be made clear.
