I think it's fairly obvious

... but does anyone else laugh when Rick gets asked a question he thinks is inappropriate?<div>
</div><div>Personally, that's one thing I'll miss about him. It's kind of slight at times, but you can always tell that there are a few people in the media that really tick him off. I like that he makes it known and won't give into it. Love that actually... I know a lot on here like all of that inside info, but I don't feel we should feel as entitled to it as we do. There's a reason coaches like to control parts of the program the way they do.</div><div>
</div><div>I'll miss a lot of things about him, but I really always liked that.</div><div>

What changed between now and Tuesday (job security)<div>
</div><div>RS: Um, nothing. Nothing changed. I'll tell you what changed...... well, nothing, you just don't know my thoughts. I don't tell you all my thoughts. I told you to hold that phone by your ear and I'd call you if you needed to know, right? (Big smile)</div><div>
</div><div>As much as you guys want to know all my thoughts, I'm only going to give you what I'm going to give you.</div><div>
</div><div>
</div><div>Thumbs up for saying it. D-bag question that serves no purpose other than to make a story out of the obvious. Then, going into Stricklin's office and asking him if he'd tell him if he was really going to let him coach another year if he wanted. Why?</div><div>
</div><div>Maybe that bugs me more than most. I know he has to do his job, and I probably don't know all the ins and outs of it, but I think coaches would be more inclined to speak to you and give better info if they didn't feel like they might be taken out of context.</div>

I surely believe somewhere in those 40 minutes before those questions were answered.<div>
</div><div>I think Stans has told him and numerous others for years he doesn't like the questions and he's not going to answer them the way they like him to. If I wanted to ask tough, relevant questions, I'd probably find a better way to do it to get more cooperation.</div><div>
</div><div>There's a reason some people get more answers from coaches than others, and I'm sure they're more inclined to speak to someone who isn't going to look for a storyline in every comment.</div>

We all know the answer, but we want to feel warm and fuzzy.
who cares? It's a moot point to ask him to re-enact exactly when he felt he got fired. His entire career was under a microscope. Look through it and piece it out. If you feel you know him well enough to ask that question, go ahead. He obviously didn't see the professionalism of it; I don't either.<div>
</div><div>Should be a victory lap, not an examination of what went wrong. We know what happened.</div><div>
