Bukvich's arm is apparently too sore. I wonder where UVA goes since they pitch their usual Sunday guy today.

I don't know. UVA just seems like one of those teams that won't go away. Pressure is on!!

They've thrown the weekend guys already. One of the two aces pitched game one, the sunday guy started game two, and the other ace pitched three innings of relief and picked up the win.

That being said, they have a deep staff, so it'll be a decent arm whoever it is.

I didn't realize that Carraway had thrown 3.1 innings today in relief. I knew he was slated to start the Sunday game coming into the weekend. They didn't do a great job announcing the changes at the stadium, or at least I missed it.

That's a plus for us. I bet we see him tomorrow, but I'll bet he's limited. Also, we seemed to get a lot of really good swings off of him. I had no clue who he was at the time, but I knew we were hitting a lot of balls hard off him. Too many of them were right at people, but we weren't having trouble seeing the ball on him.

They also threw their closer for 2.2 innings (+one 385 foot pitch) in Game 1, and their top left handed relief arm has thrown in each of the first two games, so I guess that's a plus for us as well. We'll see, but I still think we find a way to win tomorrow. It's just a gut feeling I've had with this team.

really, i don't think there's anyway to tell. both teams will throw the kitchen sink but really it just comes down to who has more, and honestly, both teams seem pretty evenly matched to IMO, low scoring affairs (CBB wise) and neither team really seeming to dominate this series. who wants it more?

Plus they gave away Game 1, and we gave away Game 2, both with errors on the 2B, and both with the score 3-2 at the time.

It has been evenly played. I don't know that I'd say it'll come down to who wants it more. I guarantee both teams want it equally. It'll just come down to which team makes the plays, which team's hits come at the right time, and which team's line drives and bloopers find grass and which ones find leather.

has a pitcher who used to be weekend starter who lost his slot due to injury and is now recovered.
