I think the BIG should go after Miami

Go back to the 80’s. If The BIG gets ND and Miami that’s a wrap. Also the BIG should just get Oregon and Washington as well. Now that’s a great conference with many marquee matchups

That's a scenario I've seen talked about before, and one that I would love to see. Would be nice seeing the Canes play a late November game up north.

However, I don't think the B1G is going to make another move, unless one of two things occurs. One, the SEC expands, and two, if Notre Dame would decide to join. I don't think either scenario will play out in 2022, but who knows really, other than Bucky/Townes.

Things are done for the P2 at the moment. In 14 years we will see what else happens. Unless ND makes a move.

Right now the little 3 is slapping each other to see who picks up what left over if any and who dies first scenarios.

If the Domers decide to go B1G in a combo it won't be with Miami. Miami doesn't fit with the B1G. Stanford does. UVA and UNC do.

IMO the ACC won't last 14 years in its current configuration.

Saw an article that confirmed FSU has been having meetings with the SEC for awhile now. Can't see how it will last through 2036, but someone will have to try to make a move. Apparently the SEC has determined that there's no good way to legally challenge the GOR, or its not worth trying right now.

Would cost more money to fight the GOR than to actually pay it. By the time it was decided the 14 years could already be up.

Every state has their own law for these type of contracts. Would need to be decided what state it is fought in.

If the conference disbands (which is not going to happen) then mass exits will happen.

If the conference adds teams there could be a new contract negotiation which could give a school an opportunity to sue to get out by paying a negotiated fee that allows them to keep their rights.

Or if the conferences merges with another. This could open the door even wider for those that want to leave and not cost them anything except an exit fee.

SEC and FSU have been in talks since 90's back when Arkansas and South Carolina got invited.
