because we will have Relf at QB- not Russell...if we were to play Russell at QB like a bunch of people here wanted, State wouldn't do as well. So, it appears to me that I want us to do well more than others do

you want someone on State's team to suck so you can be right and like I said - that's sick.

Don't remember where, though. Said Langston should have picked one and dropped it.

because I don't think he can get the job done. Him continuing to screw up to prove me right just allows me to remind all the geniuses here that the Condom Salesman still knows a thing or two

So Russell had a pick 6. Did Relf gain 200 yds rushing? If he didn't then he will not be the 1000 yd rusher that c34 has so loudly and numerous predicted for the last two months. Give me a 17ing break !

he didn't throw one, and "shoulda beens" don't count or else we may have been the ones in the Cotton Bowl last year.

but thanks for trying to spread misinformation.

And look, I've admitted you were probably right about the QB situation and I've even retracted my statement that you still use as your sig; but I'm telling you, it's not wise (and, yes, it is sick) to root for him to suck.

With the way we are going to use Relf this year, there is virtually no way that he is not going to at least get banged up this year. There is a high probability that Russell is going to have to play some meaningful series, or quarters, AT LEAST in some important games this year. So, yes, by you hoping and praying that he sucks just so you can feel like you've earned some meaningless message board cred is pretty douchey...it's also low (even for you), and pretty stupid. At least it's stupid if you actually want MSU to do well this year. I still think that's up for debate since it seems pretty likely that LSU is actually your favorite team.

I thought I saw Russell throw an INT, so I reported it when someone asked. I don't have an agenda for making one of our players seem like he did worse than he really did. I don't take notes at practice. There's a lot of stuff going on. I thought I saw him throw a pick so I said he threw a pick. So what if I got one wrong?

In other words, 17 off.

Relf wasnt ready to be the starting QB last season, and even showed it by getting suspended. And had Tyson been able to score against LSU or not had trouble with the mesh point with Dixon vs Houston, last season would have been a different story. Tyson did get worse though as the season went on, and Relf obviously changed his behavior after the suspension.

This year, Relf is ready to be the starting QB- Russell isn't. Nobody knows what will happen this season. Who knows- maybe Russell will be ready to take the reigns in 2011. But today- it's Relf and it's not even close

I have no idea what Russel did yesterday - but a "shoulda been"in practice for any QBis same as a pick in my book.

that could be a good thing. I certainly don't see how we could give up more big plays than we did last year though.
that if the defense was going to give up big plays with Torbush anyway, we might as well get some back with Diaz.

from his blog: "Russell was pretty sharp for most of practice, struggling a bit at the end. Cornerback Louis Watson intercepted him and returned it a short distance for a touchdown."

Sounds like Russell threw a pick 6 to me.
