This is actually the best Mississippi State baseball news I've heard in almost 4 years. Apparently, we do have some fans who care about more than the outfield party.
Wait until football when there are more Tenn, GA, and Texas fans sitting in our stadium than Miss State fans.
Who won the battle of 1-8's? Surely, we did being at home and with Coach Lemonis having the team like he likes it for season 7.
I got another email today telling me my seats are there waiting on me to renewal. I bet the season ticket sells are the lowest ever. I felt better about football when Croom was here. Selmon did not have the balls to force Lebby to make changes to defensive staff after a 2-10 season with one of the worst defenses in the country he will not have the balls to make a change to the baseball staff.
I last bought mine in '23 and they were still empty last week, I haven't checked this week

This is awesome. state fans pay good money for those tickets, and when the team isn’t giving effort, they have every right to boo this crappy team. Wish I was there so I could join in.
There is no fundamentals for this team. Not covering second base, not knowing where to be, wayching the game. It’s frankly embarrassing.
That reminds me….Does our ‘23 team still own the being run ruled record?

Our futility: Cupp fields a ball to get the final out and muffs the throw to third. Arun scores. On the next batter he fields it clean and his throw to Hines was in the dirt, and Hines couldn’t come up with the crappy throw. Another run scores.
Who comes up to bat in the bottom of the inning, bases loaded with a chance to redeem himself, but Cupp. He slaps the breeze, three times, Frei pops up to first. No leaders, no fundamentals, just losing the battle of 1-8’s.

It’s felt over for 2 years. I think most gave him a pass for 2022 with all the injuries, but after the next year was even worse….. yeah it felt like a matter of time. Last year was a step up but it still felt off. And this year we are right back to the bottom.
