Brutal humiliation of a loss. However, THANK YOU Vandy. This waa coming regardless against Missouri. They were/are gonna blow us out next week, crushing that critical 5-0 start we needed.

AND I HATE MISSOURI

I hate them more than Clemson. They dont belong in the SEC. They arent even in the South!!! At least Clemson is a fellow Southern team!I hate the fake Columbia rivalry they tried to force. I hate that they won the East in 2012/2013 deapite us being the #1 team among the East but they got easier cross div games. I hate their fake swagger, ugly stadium, horrid ugly yellow helmets. And they ALWAYS seem to be an unnecessary tough game or loss that we never shoulda been stuck with, it should be a game vs Miss St or Arkansas instead

Being 3-0, full of hope, and losing by 48 at Missouri woulda been so so so much harder than this.

But now??? We suck, I expect it and dont care anymore haha. Thank you Vandy. You made this hurt so much less

Here's where your credibility goes bye bye.
Sorry I cant help it. I actually enjoy the SC vs Clemson game, it rallies our entire state, the aesthetics home or away are great, theres so much to love about a true rivalry. And it makes sense, they’re in our state, theres 100+ years of history, they’re everything an SEC program should be except they arent IN THE SEC bc we block em which is hilarious haha.

I love or enjoy NOTHING about Missouri even being in our conference much less playing them and the league trying to make a fake rivalry out of it. So that team, who belongs in the B10 not SEC, merely existing on our schedule irks me. Losing to them, even worse

Same. Its why I thank Vandy. This fraud of a 2025 SC team was destined to be exposed. Id MUCH rather Vandy get their day in the sun and do it, than going limping in as a fragile but 3-0 team into Missouri and get blown out.

I think Mizzu might be saying the same thing about SEC membership.

Easy Chump. Not having to play in the SEC in those two decades was the best thing that ever happened to the Missouri football program. One can argue that was the apex of college football conference play in the history of CFB, with the best and most diverse great teams during that 2 decade span. Competition was unbearable. Go ask HOF coaches Holtz, Spurrier, U. Meyer, M. Richt, P. Fulmer, N. Saban, etc, etc. I'm sure Larry Smith and Bob Stull would've done gangbusters during that time in the SEC.
Air Raid and the Fun N Gun was introduced to big time college football in that conference (go check the roots of your offensive system and see where they are coming from.....glad ya'll got the memo twenty years later). Some of the most dominant defenses (that actually had to play against top offenses year in and out in conference) came during that same time while Missouri was playing checkers in the Big 12.
Get back in the kitchen and make me some sammiches, pronto.

But now? Its all good, we gonna go 5-7 probably and no Saturday from here on will be such a shock

The overall history of Mizzou football significantly exceeds that of SC football. Yes or no?
Better, yes, significantly better? You be the judge:

MO .548 winning percentage, 37 bowl games, 15 conference championships
SC .511 winning percentage, 26 bowl games, 1 conference championship

MO is 9-6 all time vs SC.

Well, measurably better is more accurate. Good info.

I would say that post #16 is the correct summation.
Point made. I just found it funny about OP's rant on Mizzu.

I have advocated and still believe that Missouri was a great addition to the SEC, athletically, and even more, academically. Plus, it was a contiguous addition, as have been the more recent additions and I hope all future additions to the conference will be.

I don't think anyone in the country will say or would have said Missouri was a southeastern state. UNC and UVA would have been more natural SEC teams than MO and aTm.

South Carolina should have never left the ACC. The natural rivalries were there and the strengths and resources of SC lined up much better with ACC teams than being an independent or an SEC team.

No, but they are a major flagship AAU university in a large contiguous state. And they were available. The two you mentioned were not - and still are not.

Agree,
We should leave the SEC for independent or ACC. We are never winning in this league

Them's fightin' words...worse than the Taters? As for the next sentence, I hope the they is Clempsum and not Mizzou, because if we don't belong in the SEC, there are other implications to your statement that you don't appear to have considered.

Geographically they dont. Culturally they (Missouri) dont. Its like UCLA in the B10 or Cal in the ACC. I hate that they exist in the SEC

I'm guessing you haven't been to Missouri. Yes, St. Louis has a midwestern vibe. KC is more western, but as a state we border Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky and if there weren't signs at the border, you could drive quite a while before realizing you are in a different state. The Missouri bootheel was actually originally supposed to be part of Arkansas. It was only due to lobbying by landowners that allowed them to be carved out as part of Missouri when we became a state.
