and think carefully about it. And really, really, pay attention to it over the next 2 or so years:

Watch Mullen and Cohen coach. Watch the way their teams play. Watch the way in which they execute and are prepared for games- especially big games. Watch adjustments that are made and gameplans that are drawn up for certain teams. And then compare that to Stansbury.

I know the other two don't have a real body of work yet to judge them by, but they will. And you WILL see the difference.

Stans has done very well overall as a BB coach at MSU. Man, I hope you are right about Mullen and Cohen. And if Stans stops winning SECW and SECTs and going to the NCAAT then we'll see.

Before I state that let me make this clear: I like Cohen and believe he will do well here. However, you consistently bash Stansbury over his lack of success in the NCAA Tourney. It's ironic then that you are now using a coach that has also struggled in the postseason (not just the NCAAs but also the SECT) to bash Stans now.

Using logic to argue with Coach about Stansbury.. well, about anything really, is a wasted effort. He gets his rocks off by bashing Stansbury. We should just let him and quit feeding his massive ego.

You'll notice I have quit responding to his basketball posts. Not worth the effort.

I watched Cohen coach this record: (25-29 Overall, 9-20 in conference).

And I am watching Mullen coach State to another losing season unless he pulls a giant miracle out of his ***.

You need to pick some better examples.

This is what happens when you are driven to blind hatred for an individual: You began to present ignorant comparisons that make you look more of a fool than the person you are attempting to smear.

It was the first time I have ever had that opportunity and I can tell you I was less than impressed with the entire crew...players and coaches.

I know you salivate for bashing Stans, so I will offer you my biggest problem with what I saw last night as far as Rick goes. Our guys looked slow and out of shape compared to Rider last night. We also still do not know how to defend the 3 point shot or run a decent zone offense consistently.

But the biggest problem I had last night was the player effort outside of Bost, Phil and Vanardo. We were doing fine early till people started getting subbed for and I could visibly tell they were miffed and then I could visibly tell they quit doing anything but looking for their next shot.

Kodi and a couple of others are still all about themselves and not the team and get their panties in a wad when they have to share the play time. Sorry guys, we have depth and need to spread the play time around.

I for one am glad we showed our shortcomings from our players and coaches in the first game. Now it is up to them to fix it or keep talking crap in the newspapers and continue to lose.

Especially Kodi. I was impressed with the one 3 pointer I saw but I didn't see anything else that makes me think he is quite all that and a bag of chips like everyone else does. That doesn't mean I don't think he has the potential to be something special, I just don't think he has the maturity.

Rick better get the defense up on these guys and teach them to move without the ball against the zone or else we will be scraping for 20 this year.

say before you post it. Mullen is 4-5 with Croom's kids and everyone in the country can see improvement, but you. Cohen went 25-29 with Polk's camp kids, and Cohen has done more in recruiting in less then 2 years then Polkie did in the last decade at State. Not saying Cohen is going to win, but the program is already showing signs of life and the fanbase is excited. These 2 cats are cleaning up messes left by other coaches.

..the win/loss statistics tell the story that as of today, Stansbury's body of work is far more impressive than that of Cohen's or Mullen's.

I'm not adding "inherited a mess" scenarios to my analysis.

Just like coach34 likes to do, I am presenting cold, hard statistics to back my argument.
