should let one go every now and then especially at 11:00 at night. Much better than the driving direction thread and some of the other non msu bs.

This is a sports board. I don't need to see the drunken ramblings of some delusional crack head, even if he does own 1/6th of this board.

There are lots of places to talk politics on the internet and I bet you can go there and find someone almost as wrong as Extreme.

You start letting these political threads stay up, they are going to fill up the entire front page and all it will do is piss people off, or there will be a **** ton topics on politics and people who don't want to come here to read about politics (like myself), and instead want to read about sports, have to sift through 52 pointless "17 Obama" threads. This board is known for sports and not letting political **** fill up the board, and if the mods start sliding on that, I will probably quit reading and go pay for a subscription to GP, and I would bet a lot of people will end up leaving because of it.<div>
</div><div>Politics does nothing but piss me off. I come here to enjoy talking about sports and what's going on at my alma mater. </div><div>
</div><div>*Edited to add you can talk about driving directions without pissing people off*</div>

..ignorant takes on sports, is reading ignorant takes on politics.

But since this is a sports board, unless a sports take is beyond the pale ignorant, it should be allowed.

But the political crap should be relegated to political boards (there are dozens of political boards of all stripes that allow comments; Google it).

Frankly, what the typical American believes politically scares the **** out of me.

I come here to escape the fear, not revel in it.

Thanks a lot. Fortunately, I won't have to explain to a network administrator what I was doing there, but some people might.</p>
