i didn't think they were going to run the ball on our D, but they had a solid rushing attack. Glad we don't have to play those guys in Auburn later in the year.

I was too. Marshall is much better than last year. Their defense is very good and their receivers are as good as anyone's. If the selection committee really takes the top 4 teams, right now I think they've got to take FSU, MSU, AU & UM. But there's no way they take 3 from the SEC.
I'm intrigued by Nick Marshall
He runs that offense effortlessly and nothing seems to phase him. He missed a couple of throws but our D line is the best in the nation.

I thought Auburn played us the best physical game we have seen all year. Their guys hit pretty damned hard. It also would have been really easy to quit after going down 21 that quick and then making 3 points on 3 trips inside the 10, but they were still digging till that last interception. Whether you like Auburn or not, you have to admit they are a pretty damned good team.
I also have a new respect for Marshall. Outside of some high throws under pressure, he damned near brought them back in the second half. Duke Williams is probably the best WR in the conference too.

I agree Pat. That OM/Auburn game is going to be a battle. Auburn's D is legit. They looked fast against our O, and that's saying something, because we're hard to be fast against.
