I think these guys have completely overlooked MSU. Very little is mentioned about us. They are still discussing the LSU game, the Heisman trophy, and have moved on to talk about the Florida game. They did discuss our cowbells in a thread "Cowbells.... will the SEC do anything". One fan wrote "1,000 ringing cowbells shouldn't be a big distraction." I think he will be sadly mistaken. I smell a trap game for the Tide.

If we can muster some offense against their defense and one would believe with two weeks now to prepare we will have a good game plan, we have a chance to keep this thing close and Id love nothing more than to cut their hearts out with a spoon.

I would prefer ripping their balls off and shoving them down their throats. Then let them know that even though Tuscaloosa is only 88 miles away, it's a long way to tote a whooped ***!!!!!

And then, after defining the term, explain whether playing an admittedly decent Mississippi State team on the road the week before they play The University of Tennessee Chattanooga at home constitutes a trap game as defined. I'll hang up and listen.

People need to get over this idea. They play a 1-AA team next week. They have nothing to look past us to.</p>

now that Bama has clinched the West and will be playing FL in ATL, I could see this being something of a nothing to play for type game. They can lose our game and still win the SEC Champ game to play for the national title. The other two games on their schedule are UTC and AU. UTC is a no brainer and UA people always get up to beat AU.

Bama has clinched The West. No matter how they practice or prepare, it is not possible for them to have all the fire they had last week against LSU in a battle for The West.

Even if they're focused on staying undefeated for BCS purposes, they still know they've got some slack now. A 1-loss SEC team that wins the SEC CG is going to play in the BCS CG.

Bama just played LSU in a close game. After playing a tough game of that magnitude, it is tough to focus or get "up" for playing Mississippi State even if we are a decent team in our own eyes. I assure you were are not all that decent in their's.

Mullen is a damn good coach. Probably better than Saban, at least offensively. And Mullen and the dogs have had 2 weeks to focus on this game.

they just played LSU and they are looking past us to Florida. Technically, this is not a true trap game, but you see the point.

PS I noticed that you have made several references to the Chocolate Starfish!

<div id="post_message_1183270"> I think the visiting team should ring cowbells while MSU is on offense. Let's see how long that lasts... 'cause usually 50% of the stadium is the visiting team. </div>
Also some mentioned that they should try to sneak in crimson cowbells and see how the fans like it. The stupidity of the majority of their fans off the charts. </div>

Auburn begs to differ. Different year, different circumstances, I know. Still can't believe they got jobbed like that.

The fans overlooking us isn't anything but insulting. We can hope the players and staff have the same mindset, that would only be to our advantage, but just b/c the fans are idiotic doesn't mean Saban and co. will be.

Their reaction to the cowbells is hilarious though. Both the idea that there will only be "1,000" of them, and the suggestion that they could out-cowbell us if they wanted to.

In fact they actually only respect UF and LSU this year, and most years you could add UGA to that list. And some years UT. But never MSU or the rest of the league.
