The UT football team needs uniforms like the UT basketball team's sweats. The UT basketball team's sweats look like they came from a prison surplus store.
Nothing says poor taste like choosing a Cock for a mascot, which has been associated with human anatomy since the 1600s or maybe even 1300s.
It personally bothers me when schools wear a dark uniform that isn't a school color.

It's crazy to me that these schools that don't have black as a school color break out black uniforms.
That said,
of the three times Tennessee has worn black that I'm aware of, this version of black is by far the best. It's a good looking uniform.
It's also crazy that our fans complain when we wear black, since our colors are garnet and BLACK!
Actually the original color of UT was black jersey and tan pants between 1796 and early 19 hundreds. In 1914 the Vols, in black uniforms, were undefeated and won the old Southern conf Championship.

Not sure when they started football. UT founded in 1796. Black jerseys were originally worn. 1914 was first championship and undefeated season.

Actually I feel that way about all posts regarding uniforms, Dod. Again that's just me. I admit I don't understand all the interest in uniforms and fashion. I just wanna see hard nosed football players in them winning football games for my university no matter the uniform.
