Croom would not have had us in position to win the game, and he wasn't the smartest coach in the NCAA, but he had enough sense to give the ball to Dixon.

Dixon and the team deserved to win, and as sick as I am about this self-manufactured loss, I'm sure Mullen feels a lot worse.

Mullen did a great job with the game plan, I hope he's here for a long time. I just hope it doesn't take him too much longer to figure out that he doesn't have Tebow anymore.

On the bright side, life goes on and the sun will rise again.

He would have given the ball to Dixon but it would have been 5 yards deep in the backfield and Dixon would have been smacked down for a loss. I've saw that sequence many, many times over the last 5 years.

He wanted him to pitch the ball. The whole reason for that playcall was to fake a handoff inside to further bring the defense inside and then pitch to Dixon with a blocker out front. Now, perhaps next time he should use a timeout to tell our QB, who should have had enough sense to know better, to pitch to Dixon. However, Mullen did not want Lee to run there. As soon as Lee came over to the sidelines, Mullen was all over him for keeping there. And again I'll say this: if we run up the gut 3X Croom style we don't make it. LSU had all 11 games in the middle of the field. Why do you think we called for hte option there? It's because it was wide open due to LSU throwing everything at stopping the run up the gut, yet some of you still wanted us to do that. Unbelievable. I'll never say a coach is above questioning or get on fans for questioning a coach, but if you question a coach at least use some sense.
