So probably Germans, but anyway... can't hurt to repost this embarrassment again. If the MSU athletic department ever produced anything like this, I would be livid. http://vimeo.com/75911475
Out of curiousity, what about the video bothers you? I'm not saying there is no reason for you to dislike the video. I'm just wondering what it is that you don't like (besides the fact that it is an Ole Miss video).
It's not about the quality of the video. Although, given the homophobic scandal at OM, I find the choice of music ironic. But that is beside the point. The point is, is after a loss, where we were shutout by Alabama (or anyone else) and our athletic department produced a melodramatic video highlighting locker room footage of our coach talking about how "we closed the gap" and how "love will get us through" and soforth, and then filling the rest of the video with highlights from a different game that we won - yeah, I would be pissed.
Yeah. You closed the gap. Technically true. From 25 to 19. And shut out. Moral victory. Let's make a hype video. Pathetic.
It's great reality TV. Nothing negative or shameful about it. They got whipped and honestly documented it. I pray one day you are livid with our athletic department because that is good ****.

Wow... I guess the thing to do would be to just throw in the towel and call the season a bust. Forget trying to motivate the players and the fan base.**
I'm really not seeing the connection here at all. Not sure what you're trying to say.
Well really that was just an aside, but did you HEAR the song?
Well really that was just an aside, but did you HEAR the song?
I'm with Vandaldawg...this is embarrassing...it's propaganda to the kool aid drinkers in Oxford too saying them, "we're gonna be alright y'all." How about after a loss, release a hype game for the upcoming game, not a hype game because we played well at certain points in the game and "love will pull us through."
The quality is fine, which is what I would expect from an SEC school, but the message or embarrassing. It's borderline everyone gets a trophy to me. Here you los,t but you played hard, so here's a video for you. Same thing in my opinion.
Please help us understand what about the song that is related to the recent drama at the UM drama
Is Portishead connected to LGBT causes?
Is dubstep somehow a "gay" music style?
Is combing the two into a remix pushing the needle too far?
Even though all the lyrics from the original song weren't used, there's nothing eye raising in them either.
What are we missing here?
Mullen said we are winning championships. It's coachspeech. Haven't you heard of it? Do you take everything so literally?
I pray to God that Bama only beats us by 25.
I'm sorry but I'm still not understanding the issue with the song. Was there a different version? The song I heard had a slow start, but ended up being a dubstep remix of a Portishead song. Was that what you were hearing? If not what did you hear? If so what was the issue? Or PM me if it's inappropriate. The larger point.
