10 or 12 years ago, while walking through the UM campus after a loss to your team, my wife, another couple, and i were met by an overweight guy wearing a wife beater tank top with a rebel flan embossed on it and a rebel flag hat. We were dressed rather nicely in khaki pants and maroon golf shirts, etc. As we passed thequintessential Ole Miss fan, he leaned back and yelled, "go home rednecks!" We still laugh about that today. <div>Merry Christmas to you and yours.</div>

I have a similar story. Eli's sophomore year...around Egg Bowl time the venom was spewing pretty heavy between the Jean's Page faithful and the Spirit. One particular thread took off that week, how only MSU 'necks wore camo, drove tractors, spit tobacco, etc.<div>
</div><div>The night of the Egg Bowl, I'm sitting in Section B and right before the start of the game, this guy in full camo overalls looking like he's straight off the deer stand walks down the stairs with his young son in tow wearing the identical outfit and sits down a couple of rows ahead of me. I didn't really think much of it until I got a good look at his camo hat, with the OLE MISS logo on it. I chuckled to myself that night as the beatdown commenced whenever he would yell out "COME AWWWWNNN EEEELLLIIIIIII" in between spitting dip into his cup.</div><div>
