I wouldn't be surprised if we actually beat Louisiana State U.

The offense is fine. The D needs work, lotta work.

When I looked at the schedule, I counted on winning at AU or home against LSU...and I felt better about the latter. I just feel good about this game.

You don't have a tough loss like that and then come out with your top game 4 days later. It just doesn't happen, period. Look at Va Tech last year.

And its truly idiotic if you really think that (about the 1% part. I understand your reasoning though.)<div>
</div><div>Im not going to say we are going to win and I think we will lose, but this game is strength vs strength and weakness vs weakness. Our O vs their D and their O vs our D, respectively. If Cox and Boyd play well and we get improved LB production (questionable, I know) we definitely have a chance. </div>

Good offense, potential to put points on the board, Les Miles' clock management. Now let's look at the negatives...5 days after heartbreaking loss, 5 days after tough very physical ball game, LSU's defense is on the bad *** side, Chris Wilson, and the indians. Now taking all that into account, the deciding factor is going to fall squarely on Dan Mullen's shoulders. This will be his toughest challenge to date. This is where you find out what your coach is worth. He's hungry and he's got to be pissed about yesterday. I know he wanted that one bad. I know everyone puts the last 2 decades against the coonasses into their mindset and it's hard not to but this is going to be a hard fought ballgame. People need to get off their asses, do their part and shake this coonass curse once and for all. If not now, I don't know when we'll ever do it.

The only chance we have to win this game is if Les does something really stupid.

Could not have said it any better. Damn that was funny. But on a slightly more serious note, seeing that it is only a football game and we are recognizing a somber date in history today, LSU will have their way with our sieve-like defense Thursday night. And the gaudy offensive stats we put up against AU will be a distant memory against the corndogs' defense.

The way Auburn's D made our Offense look pedestrian for half the game yesterday, I can't imagine what LSU is gonna do to us. Also, with as shabby as our defense is, LSU has some nasty playmakers that are gonna run down our throats. Hopefully we get our **** together.

Yes, we have a statistically awesome offense after 2 games (5th in the nation at 588 yds/gm) but that was against 2 of the worst defenses in the country in Awbarn (111th) and Memphis (120th). LSU's defense will stifle us just like they did Oregon. And we can't stop the run. If Memphis rushed for 165 yds on us, what do you think Ware and Ford will do?
I will be there to support the dogs, win or lose.
