O'Connor keeps Parker if Muscara doesn't come. In fact, I don't mind if he picks Parker over Muscara. Parker has better results over Muscara for last 2 seasons anyway. Huge credit to Parker for setting us up with our Fri and Sat starters still left to go in the winners bracket.

Muscara just offers so much more ceiling in the portal. His track record is so much more established.

Parker is really good, but remember our pitching portal haul last Summer? Muscara doesn't have that issue.

No matter what happens the rest of this postseason Justin Parker is now the Greg Knox of Mississippi State baseball. Starting Ben Davis against a team with a 27 game winning streak tonight took balls. Equivalent to riding a 4- wheeler on to the field for the egg bowl.

I wouldn’t be mad if either he or Gautreau are retained. Don’t know how likely either is.
