Another drive trading Wurster & passes for TD, then backup RB busted 77 yr td up middle evading several tackles.

I went to the Herscher game, 34-0 final,, was better game than score indicated, Peotone had 4 big pass plays and that was the game.. Herscher couldn't move the ball at all, maybe 4 first downs and I doubt 100 yards of offense. But on defense did a good job of stopping the run, especially considering the had 3 sophs and 2 freshmen on defense most the game.
Just drives me nuts that if at full strength we could be like last year, 4 or 5 win team with the right draw could win some 3A playoff games.

Think it depends if we get the two linemen back for those games, this should be the low point for the program.. be good for the young kids to get another W heading into next year.. If the Jones kid can grow another 3 inches, will be a D1 kid.. About 6'2 210 right now
Benedictine had homecoming yesterday. I think the game should have been this afternoon though.

The 7 o’clock game was a surprise. Do they have a soccer game today or something? Problem is when you don’t have your own field you are at the mercy of others

Well you keep on making the excuses that they have to start Sophs and freshman because they have injuries. Not a very deep roster and I don’t think they could field a varsity youth team
Have a senior class that has 7 or 8 kids that would be starting not playing, plus a junior class with not much depth..
And youth football is just that, youth football... the kids that are seniors now won the super bowl their 8th grade year, now most of them aren't playing..
Was just a dumb comment you made.. and from what I hear, Coalers have some lean years coming up soon, maybe they should be looking into 8 man too?
And I will think about the bet, Central will be really good again next year.. not sure what Watseka and some of the lower tier conference schools will have

Lean in talent maybe but not in numbers. When you have injuries and have to have Freshman come up and fill in then you don’t have good numbers. When you can only get thirty some kids in your program then you have issues. I’m sure there are some 1A schools you guys can schedule to get a win or two
Was Streator competitive at all? Morris played Ottawa Saturday and honestly for a school that size I’ve never witnessed that kind of ineptitude. It was seriously one of the worst performances I’ve witnessed. Morris could literally have scored 100 without resistance.
No. They went three and out. We scored on the first play and it was over. They really didn’t even want to be out there. We scored 42 in the first half and played our bench the game. Had about a 60 yard td drive with our backups and still held them to -7 yards of total offense. It sounded about the same when I was following the Skins game on my phone. I thought Ottawa was supposed to have a pretty good QB
Zach threw 4 TDS in the first half. When I say he could have punted the ball to the receivers I’m not exaggerating. I’d never say anything bad about a kid, but let’s just say people may have been looking for something to say positive about Ottawa in the pre-season

Zach is having a great season. Well deserved. He’s fun to watch. Big game this Friday with Sycamore. How do you guys match up?
Will be a tough one. Our defense is much better now than when we played, so I suspect a rematch wouldn’t be 90 points or whatever it was. I have a lot of respect for both Sycamore and Kaneland. Sycamore has beat us at this level every year. They are very good and very well coached. But we will show up. I feel like we’re better than I thought we’d be. Would rather it be in Morris but the kids will be there
This is one of the matchups I have been waiting for in the Interstate lopsided eight I feel it should be a great game With sycamores on field conduct this weekend I can only hope Morris will find a way to win this deal
He played tonight. Cats got Herscher and Braidwood next, maybe a chance to get a little rest for a few guys.

Without starting a argument with any Spartans. It is easy to beat a team 49-0 and leave the field of play and everyone involved says what a class act team.. it happened two weeks ago with Kaneland. Then you can have the complete opposite which is what I saw this week much much much different.
