He played at Tupelo and I really liked him then- he was a pitcher and catcher and helped them get to 6A finals. Very competitive player who will do whatever it takes to beat you. In high school, he was throwing in the mid 80's if my memory serves me correctly and he had an offer from Samford coming out of high school. I actually liked him as a back-up catcher at that time, but at ICC he went 11-0 as a pitcher with a save and a ERA in the 1's.
