I get to see all of one at bat, and it's a freaking Ole Miss home run. Oh, and go black team! Beat those camo-clad bumpkins!

if it rains through tomorrow, then we take 2 and ole miss doesnt even get the "gimme" win in game 3 with our bullpen, therefore, they gain no ground on LSU at all.

LSU won yesterday.

Regardless of how this plays out with the weather, they are going to have to hope that we beat LSU next weekend.

And that they take care of business in Fayetteville.

I hope we get to finish the game as well as play the 3rd game.

No doubt they'll do everything they can to get this game completed tonight. I wonder when the cut-off time comes into play for this game?

you go to the game expecting to play, and ready to play. If it rains, it rains or whatever. There's nothing you can do about it.

So, I agree with you.

I believe he will go with Crosswhite but again I have no idea. We have had very little luck with the "baseball Gods" this year. I do believe we are done for the rest of this weekend with what we have left in the pen! What a shame.

I would probably start Houston for three, and then Devin Jones for two, Pace for two, and Swindle for two. And pray for rain. (That doesn't have the same ring as Spahn and Sain and pray for rain). Then I would have Hollinghead, Wesson, and Reed on standby and ready to go just in case one of them (or more) struggle. And I would meet with the pitchers and tell them, Hey, Houston, all you have to do is get nine outs. Devin, just get six outs, and etc. Just try to simplify it and try to take as much pressure off of them as possible.

I'd also consider Bowen based on how he threw in the bullpen.
