I am sure it is but the wierd thing is we heard it over and over about Croom being the first black coach in the sec but little has been talked about the race of Strong and Phillips. I do not know if we have come that far or if it just not that big of a deal after the first one.
not the first. they said at the start of the game this was the first meeting between black head coaches since sometime in the 90s. I think they said 1990 but can't remember exactly what year it was.
