I'd pop Bost in the forehead with my dry erase marker

That was the best team we have played and the win is huge for all of MSU. Now we need to take care of business and at least plit next week, then win the next 3.

At this point, if I had to choose between Stansbury and Dee drawing up a play, I'm going with Dee.

Rodney Hood will be the leader of this team and will set the tone.

I've heard several stories of him chastising Dee for disrespectful behavior in non-game situations.

for you to make a basketball post without taking a shot at Stansbury. Hilarious. Hey you're boy Grant had another great performance today...

we had several HUGE plays offensively and defensively coming out of time outs. <div>
</div><div>But I guess this is Coach's way of attributing all of that to Dee.</div>

That was probably our biggest win since the SECT title game a few years ago. I don't care of Bost was beating his meat in the huddle.

it's a great win no matter what. I disagree that Vandy is the best team in the SEC as many on here have stated. Yes, they are very, very good but they're not going to be that hot from the outside on a consistent basis. I think they are lacking a little down low. </p>

You'll never hear it from some of the clowns, though, because it would make them wrong. They are never wrong.

Great win but Stans will be judged by one thing and one thing only. NCAA tournament success. Vandy got two excellent shots on ridiculously bad defensive plays with almost no time on the clock. He also drew up a great play on some late possessions to get Dee and Moultrie easy lay ups. Sweet 16 or bust!

Coach34 has a point!

The game was won on State's 2nd half turnaround.

Down 11 then up 10.

What happens?

Bury took out Steele and Vandy came back.

And we all know that back door backcut IS NOT a Stansbury expertise.

The players won the game.

And ALWAYS have in the past.

You can't have it both ways. Some of you are really sick. Instead of feeling good about the win, you are acting like douchbags. As earlier stated, give it rest, we will lose another down the road and you can all whack off like you always do when we lose.

And the screen for Moultrie to get him an uncontested layup in an empty lane. We took 2 more shots than them overall, 9 more shots inside the arc, and went to the FT line 12 more times without the benefit of having a player that can take his man off of the dribble and get all the way to the rim, which is the most important aspect of the way basketball is played today.<div>
</div><div>Stansbury goes to what, 11-8 vs Stallings?

This may be one of the dumbest things I have read in while.

I know Stan's isn't a great floor coach but sometimes you gotta give credit where credit is due. He went away from the "motion" at big moments and called some good sets that resulted in easy baskets.

Why don't we see that 'flash' of genius from Stansbury more often?

Why run that motion crap 99% of the time then call that great call once out of 100000?

17ers!

wanted to do the same thing....but I am not a basketball coach for a Division I basketball program. Sometimes a coach lets stuff go...he knows there is a time to let it go and a time to throw the eraser at him. I would have thrown it just like you. And just like me, you are not a Division I basketball coach either...

I can't answer why it doesn't work more often (likely because he isn't a great floor coach), but all I am saying is that tonight it did work and he should get a little credit for it.

You should save up all your Stan's hatred for when we lose - which I am sure will happen sooner rather than later - but instead you decide to disparage him after he coaches a very good game. I have no problem hating on Stans when our teams gets outclassed by inferior teams, but doing so after a big win on the road just makes you sound stupid.
