I know it's like the walk of champions, but something needs be put there to give the place some more character (no croom reference meant) instead of just walking into an open field.

We need something there. Plenty of places have things of that nature, so I don't really feel it'd be a copycat feature as far as "new" traditions go. Especially if the design is well thought out and unique in its own way. Not a bad start for a rough draft. I agree with the post saying nix the establishing date, although it could look cool in fifty years. But who's planning that far ahead?

I'll tell ya this much... sure beats the hell out of some old car riding all over Scott Field.

But I can't wait to go to one this year and finally check out the new junction that I've never seen because of that LONG drive from Nashville.! Kinda excited about that new bulldog statue.! By the way, can't wait to rub Tonka's balls.
