I would like for someone to explain with all of that adversity how in the world could we possibly be 6-4 or 7-3 at this point in the season (is that what would be acceptable ??). Really, someone who has all the negative outlook - Tell me what kind of year you expected (or would have been considered improvement) and then with all of the misfortune in injuries, etc. - what would you have expected ?? Just curious. Personally, I think we can win the last two and really get after it next year. Also, if you heard CC on Dawgs' Talk last night, you might feel a lot better. He talked about the Offense. If you have M2M you might want to listen to the last segment of the program on replay.[/quote]You want someone to tell you how we could be 6-4 or 7-3 with all of these HORRIFIC losses?
Well, since we missed a FG against Auburn that cost us the game, that would get us to 4-6. We also missed a FG against UK that cost us the game...that would get us to 5-4. We lost to LOUISIANA TECH, which should have never happened, Pegues or no Pegues...winning that puts us at 6-3. And Tennessee was obviously very beatable since they've only won 3 games this season and were beat at home by Wyoming. So, that shows how we could EASILY be 6-4 or 7-3.
Furthermore, you imply that 6-4 or 7-3 was unrealistic with those losses, yet claim we can win our next two games which would put us at 5-7. If we are capable of winning our next two and being 5-7, then why is it unrealistic to have won any of the other 7 games we lost? So, add in Auburn, UK,LA Tech and possibly UT with your supposed wins over Arkansas and OM and we could have would 8/9 games in the regular season VERY easily.
