LSU sucks. If they lose a game, it will be at Missouri or at Texas. They will be in the playoff even with two losses because they are SEC and they beat ND at ND.
My point was, Jimbo and Sumlin would have very easily lost this game.
We'll see if Elko is the real deal and has them ready. I think he is, unfortunately.
Kelly might get his payout if LSU loses a night game in the Red Stick, thereby 100% officially ending their hope for a playoff birth
I have a feeling this is A&M's year. They could go undefeated. Elko is a good coach.

Yep, my fears about sleeping giant football programs in our neighborhood seems to be coming true in College Station.

Just looked and this is year 4 with no playoff or top 10 finishes unless he wins out. And a downward trend the last 2 years. He might survive 8-4, but even that would take a pretty big upset win.

They very well could be the best team in the country right now. They've had a relatively easy schedule for an SEC team though, and it's a little tougher from here in. The only easier schedule for an SEC team is OM.
Could be wrong, but I think Kelly's departure is academic at this point. 2nd year in a row that he's rolled-out a QB with a lower QBR and comp % than the MSU QB.
I hope LSU destroys them so it will at least momentarily cause Kayce Smith to STFU.

We should be afraid of A&M with their money. The only way LSU wins this game is if they fire Kelly ahead of the game.
