Don't you understand what happened? Horton WAS good. But not as good as the guy who beat him out, Benny Snell.

Interesting points. I wonder how much a great bowl game could move his draft position?

A bowl game won't move his draft position. But a healthy senior season with another 1,000+ yards would. Right now, Boom is a 7th round draft choice or a FA. A year from now, if he is fully healthy, he can be a 4th round pick, which means more money and a much better opportunity to make an NFL roster.

Why do we need a second back? Snell can take all the carries. Most teams have a feature back.
