If Bryce Harper is going to insist on charging the mound....

He better get some coaching on how to land a punch. Laughing Girlie punches and he's the only one that got hit. Idiot.

Not a fan of Harper at all, but I liked it better when hitters who were plunked had two choices - either jog to first base or go fight the guy who threw at you. At least Harper didn't stand in the box throwing a tantrum, then pretend like he wanted to fight while other players held him back.

I see the ultra-douche Smardizjbdeyuinfdrthhvvfza was involved again. I remember the resident expert here claiming he would win multiple Cy Youngs. Lol

Harper had every right to charge that mound, Strickland waste punk ***, but isn't a small dude. Strickland should get 8-10 games and Harper 3-4. 3 year old grudge for giving up two moon shots is being a puss

Thought I saw Harper land one. It wasn't much, but hey he made contact.

Let's not forget Strickland is the nut-job that wanted to fight Salvy Perez in the 2014 World Series.... because Salvy had the audacity to score from second on an Omar Infante home run. Huh? It was a strange moment that his team clearly didn't support, and this looks like part two. He has brain issues.

You figure for such a tough guy, he could fight a little. Best part was the idiot smardzinsirnrndjdnsnsnsjzksksisndnndjddjdja slamming into his own teammate so he could look tough by being the first one into the hug pile.

Buster is the one who is probably the most embarrassed this morning from the fight. As a catcher, you protect your pitchers. If its just trying to talk the batter to first base. Not saying he needed to come out swinging or anything.

I took that as confirmation that Posey (and likely a lot of other Giants players) are tired of Strickland being a thin-skinned, loudmouthed d-bag and an embarrassment to the organization.

Sure but he's still his teammate. Like I said, maybe Buster does not come out swinging but talks Bryce down to first base. Buster is one of my favorite players. I just hated him not being there for his teammate.

Posey is fresh off a concussion. The last thing he's going to do is jump into a fight.

If he was worried about another concussion he would not be catching. The team, minus Smarfstujiufddsssaaarrjiijh5322ugdtt88hcazaza is sick of his crap.

Now Ken Rosenthal is saying that Strickland told Posey what he was going to do, and to not intervene. Which is plausible, and makes Suckland look worse. Dude wanted to fight, and did absolutely nothing besides pretend to fight against his teammates to get back at Harper.

I wish Morse hadn't collided with Jeff. I think Samardzjia was about to lay a haymaker on Harper. He would have at the very least laid him out.

I do wish this was a moment where everyone would let them fight for 10 seconds then get involved. Atleast these two came out swinging instead of rolling around on the ground.

I saw it live and multiple replays. All he did was kind of slap him with his fist and pull his lip down. It really didn't connect at all. He on the other hand got a solid right to his kisser from a pretty big dude. I get why he charged the mound but man if you're gonna do it, get your money's worth. Kind of stupid for the pitcher to punch him given his occupation also. He outweighed Harper it appeared by 50 lbs. Just take him down and sit on him to let him cool down. Great entertainment but I would be mortally embarrassed if that's the best lick I could get it in in that situation......and I did more than my fair share of that as a kid.
