Just for fun here are the teams who would have gotten in to replace the 20 CPS playoff teams.4-5 teams with 44 points or more were all in.8 teams had 43 with 2 spots left. The tiebreaker if I'm not mistaken is total number of wins of teams you beat.Vernon Hills 5-4,Rest of these are 4-5:Freeburg,St.Viator,Shelbyville,Glenbrook South,Downs Tri Valley,Rochelle,Sandwich,Johnsburg,Lockport,York,Carthage Illini West,Dakota,Wauconda,Stevenson,Hoffman Estates,Palatine,Buffalo Grove. The last 2 who were 4-5 with 43 points in were Wheaton North with 17 points opponents wins & Geneseo with 13.St.Charles North then would have been 1st team out with 10 points on tiebreaker

Take Phillips and Simeon out the mix and I would suggest the next 18 schools would give their opponents better games.

The same guy that cries about CPS not letting all of their conferences in the playoffs is crying about cps being part of the playoffs.
That was weird, one could say he was "caping" for Taft back when they would win the non-playoff Big Shoulders division (then get promoted and bounced back out of the Illini level).

Ok.I know I’m not the only one thinking if schools are on strike then replace them.So I listed all the teams in had that been done.If a school is on strike they don’t deserve the playoffs.I hate strikes.Seen too many.I still think all CPS should be playoff eligible or at least the non state playoff eligible CPS play in the Prep Bowl playoffs.I also think it was ******** they bent the rules for Simeon
