hire a solid OC?

On the one hand, he would obviously be under a lot of pressure to not screw it up. With that pressure he might find himself a solid, proven offensive coach.

On the other hand, he hired McCorvey.

I think the best thing for y'all is to get rid of all of them.

Thoughts?

It's not the hiring process i am at odds with Croom over. He hired Ellis Johnson who is doing awesome things at USC now. Its the whole not holding his buddies responsible for their performance. So, preferably, I'd like him to hire a proven offensive mind that he doesn't have a prior close relationship with.

i don't think it matters who he hires. he won't change. he won't hand it over completely. he won't take the blame when things go wrong. he won't admit that it is his inability to coach that is causing the execution myth to rear its ugly head.

the only thing that i "trust" him to do is give a belly full of excuses after a loss that don't pertain to his lack of coaching capability.

.......does nothing to change our situation, I can promise you that. Crxxms is the real problem. He's simply not a good head coach.

My advice? Forget MSU football ever amounting to anything at least until this entire staff is cleaned out of office.

but with a little bit better offense. Some sheep would claim that the improvement in the offense shows he's made the right moves and just needs a few more years til everything is in place.

Croom staff and he goes. Break all ties start again. Tired of Croom, tired of his stooges, tired of decisions

this year, but when Ellis Johnson left I didn't consider Charley Harbison a solid choice for "D" coordinator. So given recent history why would he do anything different than he's done so far...............

that would take a job under him. Some old fart over the hill might...but an up and coming one wouldn't...and his social agenda is working big time against him...and name one black OC that anyone would hire in the SEC...because that's who he would go looking for...he's practically said that is his agenda....I didn't say it..he did.

Is it even possible at this point to get a decent OC in the situation that they would be walking into? If Croom is not fired this year, then the OC coming in would basically know that he had one year and then he would be looking for a new job. Who would sign on knowing that the head coach is gone at the end of the 2009 season?

would make a program run buy this joke for a head coach successful is a fool and I desperately hope GB doesn`t fall into that category.
