he should be fired for just putting iceing on the cake......i don't think he would, but then again i think he is desperate and would do anything, even wasting a kids year of playing time.

Crxxm is trying to pull out all the stops to beat Middle Freaking Tennessee State. That's embarrassing. But it does show that he knows how important this game is to his future.

He will probably burn a redshirt on a player. The player will look all-world. making us ask why he hasn't played before and then he will disappear for the rest of the season never to be used again.

From Veazey's blog:
Asked if he was hypothetically OK with [ending a redshirt freshman season] this late in the year, Croom said he was - "if I thought he could help us win the game."
If he burns a redshirt now, it just shows he's willing to basically waste a year of a player's eligibility to help save his job.

It's game 8. We're 2-5. It's frickin' MTSU. This is no time to burn a redshirt just to add a "wrinkle" to the offense.

I wouldn't play. Screw that. If Croom raised hell with me for not... I would 17ing transfer. You would waste a year over a few more meaningless games and probably wouldn't even play in any more later on if "he didn't execute". I would go Richards on his *** and fake an injury or something. I would want that extra year in the bank to play for a competent head coach and maybe have some success.

I look for him to do stupid **** for the rest of the season. After listening to his post game conference, it is like watching a drunk college kid lie to a cop. Bumbling and stumbling his words and not making a f**cking lick of sense. He is at a point of being desperate and trying pull whatever he can out of his ***. Of course, there are idiots like Rosebowl, Gene, and MRob that kiss his *** and makes him think he got a good thing going. I guess he does.. making 1.7 mill to lose to LA Tech, Auburn, and Tennessee. Bring on Brian Kelly or Bronco Mendenhall.

If you take even one snap in the second half of the season, you can't get a medical redshirt. Crxxm is apparently perfectly willing to screw Clark and the MSU fanbase to save his fat ***'s job. <17> him.

God help him if he is depending on yanking a RS off a true freshman to save his job.

It's not like the guy is T.O. and Jerry Rice with a little Moss thrown in.

If it backfires on him, there's the obvious WTF were you doing burning this player's redshirt. If he turns into a solid contributer for us and helps us win games down the stretch, then WTF were you doing redshirting him in the first place? <17> it, Crxxm's done so much to piss me off in 6 years, there's not much he can do now to not piss me off short of winning 4 of these last 5 games to get us to a bowl game.

It is too late in the season to burn a redshirt for any reason. If they haven't played by now they don't need to play at all. If they were that important to the offense, they should have been playing in games like La Tech, Auburn and Tenn. If he does burn redshirts that just shows what a piece of **** he is.

The man has been blabbering about not going for the quick fix at the expense of the future. Well, if this doesn't fit that bill I don't know what does.
