If he is a street agent, and most believe he is, why do we believe he turned us in? Wouldn't this hurt his business?

I just can't see him being the cause of this, if he is a street agent. I can certainly see him talking to the NCAA about what he knew in an effort to cover his ***, but I don't see him causing this. It would hurt his business.

I don't think he was the one to originally turn it in

I think he is in trouble with the NCAA and now is trying to smear MSU and the athletes to try to make himself not looks so bad, or get back at msu for not hiring him. but the thing is, he is only making himself look worse.
