My Dad (KGJ). Got the call this morning he passed away last night. It’s funny, even at 45, you’re just never fully ready for those calls. Won’t be able to call or text him ever again to talk about BS, or listen to him school me on every State win or loss; But thank you Bulldogs, for allowing one final … Wrap this in Maroon and White for him!!

I'm so sorry. It'll get easier, but this day and getting that news will never leave you.
Man that’s awful. Mine died 3 years ago. I still sometime dream that he’s still alive. First year is tough, but it does get easier after that.
I still almost pick up my phone to call him and my mom from time to time. Strangest thing. It’s been 14 and 10 years.
My dad died in my arms it doesn't get any worse than that! Sorry for your loss!
RIP to a fellow Bulldog. Sorry for your loss brother. I am2 years older than you and dreading the day(s). Parents in early 70s and just seems like the last 4-5 years they have been aging in hyper speed. Sure glad they were able to pull this one off for your dad!

I'm around your age and my Dad died of ALS 8 years ago. I'm sorry for your loss, but Lord willing you will be together again. Do your best to remember the little details about him, as those get harder to remember. I hope you have a recording of his voice to listen to as well. It is all going to hit you in a few days when you are alone and everything is quiet. Don't sweat it too much because it still happens to me after all these years. I know I see my Dad everyday when I look in the mirror. Dad's are the greatest.
