We're about to head South to Baton Rouge for our first ever visit to Death Valley.

Prayers Requested. Rabbits foot in pocket. Bullet proof vest in suitcase. Rain (piss) coat packed in game bag. I think I'm read!!

If I don't post next week. Send someone to investigate my disappearance at LSU!!!!

Of course, I'm hopping that it's not as bad as some have suggested.

I'm just getting a bad feeling about this game. I shouldn't, because y'all looked competitive against AU(would've said "good" if not for the offensive woes). It's the same feeling I had before the OM-USC game last year. That not ready for prime time feeling. I'm not pulling for y'all tomorrow, but I'd like to see a good game, and it wouldn't break my heart to see Miles lose a night game at home.

neither our team or our coaching staff is ready for this type game. A win would be a huge suprise and I would be elated but I ain`t holding my breath one second.

I have the same feeling even in years where OM is suppose to be a decent team. It's part of the problem of being a fan of a Mississippi school. In 2003 OM went 7-1 in the SEC. And lost to freakin Memphis. Live for the good times I suppose.

With all the hype about Death Valley and the fans, I was really expecting something. WHAT A LET DOWN...and not just from our Bulldogs!!!!!

I think I heard "Tiger Bait" maybe TWICE during my whole stay and both were said in a very friendly way. Most of the LSU fans that I spoke with were very friendly and wanted to see us win so they could run off Miles.

The stadium was a MAJOR letdown. I had some high expectations of Death Valley as far as crowd and facilities. That place is a DUMP!!! Not much nicer than the Liberty Bowl in my opinion. And what was that crap on the video board about raising money to replace some broken windows in the stadium. WTF!!! The university can't afford to replace some broken glass????? Got to turn to the fans for that????

About the only thing I really enjoyed was the excessive amount of silicon amongst the LSU women. It seemed that everywhere we went in town, I ran into several silicon enhanced women and all were dressed like that had once been on or were still on the LSU dance team. I think we need to start a new SPS tradition of posting post game photos off all the implants we encounter at away games!!!!
