HOLY F'IN ****...THE SAINTS ARE PLAYING IN THE SUPERBOWL TOMORROW. I THINK IT IS FINALLY SINKING IN.

I Have never had a team I TRULY back play in the big game. I am a Braves fan, but dont care as much about baseball. I was around 15 when they won the Series, and even with my half-hearted love for them, I still remember that night. I might explode if the Saints pull this off.

What this tells me more than anything is that I am physically incapable of surviving any high level of success for MSU.

BLACK AND GOLD TO THE SUPERBOWL...BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: I have always been one of those people that made fun of those fans that riot and burn ****. But, for some reason, as kickoff draws closer I have an ever increasing desire to flip over a car. Go figure.

I'm probably like a lot of guys -- not a Saints fan, but really pulling for them to win. I sat on a plane yesterday next to an old Cajun. After a couple Boudreaux-Thibedeaux jokes he told me that he had gone to ever home game since 1967, and while he couldn't afford it by God he was going to the Super Bowl. Just makes you appreciate the meaning of the game to these longsuffering fans.

Football not so much. Always have been a Cowboy fan - actually had the enjoyment of watching them win their last Championship on my 30th birthday.

I can remember how I felt about the Braves in 1995 and even further back, the 1980 Phillies first world championship - I was a little league ball player growing up near Philadelphia who idolized them. Both of those wins were amazing.

Never could stand the Saints, but you gotta hand it to their fans - they are enjoying this. And they should. 17 jinxes, 17 curses, 17 bragging pre game. It ain't got NOTHING to do with how the team plays. ENJOY the ride - too many fans (MSU fans and I am guilty of it too) are so worried about talking about the team before a game that they fail to enjoy the game and the ride and before you know it POOF its gone. Go out there Saints fans, get drunk, and enjoy the hell out of this weekend, win or lose. You deserve the fun.

Begrudgingly, a Cowboys fan.

I started daydreaming about the Saints and the Superbowl yesterday and booked a flight to New Orleans for this afternoon. I just want to be in NOLA for the game. It's gonna be incredible.

...I have listened to sports radio this week, & watched plenty of ESPN.

The general consensus among the national sports media is New Orleans being in the Super Bowl is a big dud, because "everybody wanted Brent Favre."

I have actually heard radio sports guys bitching about how this whole Miami experience sucks, because "Brett Favre is not here."

They don't give a **** that NO being in the Super Bowl is the greatest sports story since Tiger Woods got caught banging whores.

The national sports media has a preconceived narrative that Brett Favre should be playing in this Super Bowl. And they will not let go of that preconceived narrative because they are a bunch of ignorant titty babies.

This is NO DOUBT the biggest game in my lifetime as a fan of anything or any team.I think I might EXPLODE as well!!! I couldn't imagine if the Dogs were in a National Championship!!!!! I have never had these insane emotions before... I sure as hell hope it's not as gut wrenching &close as the Vikes game. That was torturement.. to say the least!!!</p>
