He's got a decent rep in that he can get a better job than State right now. If he thinks this OL is bad, wait until next year. When we go 2-10 next year, he won't go anywhere and he might get fired. Next year will be the most pathetic OL in MSU history. He just has lost too many recruiting battles especially on the OL. This will be his last chance to leave for a bigger school unless he starts winning recruiting battles for solid OL. Next year will be a real bad year for State no matter what defense we put on the field. We won't be able to score.

who played against quality opponents week in and week out. Tyler Wilson is from Ark. High School and they are similar to what Williams faces for Amory. Wilson is good but he had a built in O-line to protect coming into this year and when your opponent applies token pressure like he faced today and you have big physical receivers who are open like they were today, it is just pitch and catch.
Should we get Williams...Probably. Will he do any better than what we have with the O-linemen we sign. Probably not.
If I had anything to do with it, none of those O-linemen would not get a degree. You cannot be that ignorant in taking care of your assignments and be smart enough to pass anything more than Waste Removal courses.
The game plan sucked. We should have spent the whole week preparing for Mississippi. That would have given us 2 weeks of preparation to try and eek out a 17-14 win against the Bears with this pathetic offense. Hopefully we will not need a last second punt return TD to win it.
That is the 3rd game this year our only serious TD drive was less that 30 yards. That last one tonight was against their 3rd string.
All that said, made my reservations for Nashville and Memphis, hedging one against the other. A loss next week should require an entire coaching staff enema, or a conversion of Scott Field to a Mens Soccer Field.
