i dont wanna give more credit than he is due, but some of those second half passes had some zip. i still think its bs that this is "the best he has ever thrown the ball", but he looked much better in that second half. yeah, they def had no answer to the jump ball. i get your point that great receivers can cover up some major flaws, and i certainly think that is part of the case.

I'd be concerned about the false starts and the interceptions. At the end of the day, they did what they needed to do to win the game convincingly. The interceptions and false starts will get worked out at the season progresses. Ole Miss will be a good team this year so don't count them out just because they looked bad in the first game. You know good and well by egg bowl time their offense will be playing well.
