..maybe it would be a good time to combine the programs and build a 110K seat stadium.

Our football team would be nothing less than incredible. I don't care, I'd vote for it in a heartbeat. I don't care about all the Ole Miss fans. They might be swoosh-haired douche bags, but after that first kickoff against LSU, they would be MY swoosh-haired d-bags.

but I hate the four-headed hydra of 'Bammer, CorndogU, UPig, and UCheat more (collectively speaking). I would totally suck it up and get on board. Hell, throw in the Buzzards and the Okra, too. That would be a juggernaut that the whole college football establishment would tremble at.

State fans may be "insert-tobacco-chewing-book-farming-stereotype-here" but %%@# it we'd have a damn fine football team and it would be good for the state. Level some area in the middle of the state and make a Grove/Junction/Whatever and a 100k stadium and just win, baby. It'd be like Talladega for college football, but in a good way.

It's kinda stupid that a state with less than three million people has three major universities and umpteen billion JUCOs.

in the history of division 1 college football has this ever been done? Would it be NCAA legal?<div>
</div><div>Stadium would be alternating between Oxford and Starkville until an agreement could be reached to build an epic stadium in downtown Jackson. Complete with an arena and an amphitheaterto finally bring in big acts to Jackson. Administration would be a spit straight down the middle until new positions could be elected. The people of Mississippi would embrace the **** out of this. Leave USM out though. We will call them "directional Mississippi" and beat up on them every year UAB style.
