I'm sure they probably won't, lol, but if they do, this is what the State Quarterfinals will look like.

Region A Champion, Colonial Beach vs Region B Runner Up, Sussex

Region B Champion, Riverheads vs Region A Runner Up, Lancaster

Region C Champion, Auburn vs Region D Runner Up, Grundy

Region D Champion Eastside vs Region C Runner Up, George Wythe

Let's see how these predictions look by next weekend.

Grundy has struggled to get over the hump since the 90s with their elite basketball teams. I would love to see them do it this year but they've had some really damn good teams scattered around since 95 that just always run into a bugaboo....whether it was Gate City or a piedmont team and now looks like Eastside will be that team. The 99 team managed to get to the state quarters in AA and bowed out to Salem but that is it.

Would love to see them get over the hump and reach the state semis and beyond.
