If ND loses next weekend..

I think it's more likely to be Bama vs FSU. Which are probably the two most talented teams in the country.
Remeber, FSU and UF play each other next week.
FSU is 10th in the BCS poll... No way they can surpass all 6 SEC teams in front of them. Computers hate them due to weak SOS.

If ND loses somehow, it should be a virtual lock for an all SEC NC game. The only question is where Oregon falls to after the loss to a top 15 Stanford team (assuming Oregon wins out of course). If they fall behind LSU, they are done. If they come in behind UF, they still have a shot if FSU can upset UF.

They play UF next week, and UGA goes down to Bama. There's 2.
They'll get a big shot in the arm after they beat UF by two TDs.
I don't think they will take a 2-loss SEC team over a 1-loss Kansas State, whom the computers love, assuming they beat Texas next week. Oregon too, but they won't be playing in the Pac-12 Championship.
The pecking order is now:
1. Notre Dame (if undefeated)
2. Alabama/Georgia winner (if only 1 loss)
3. Florida State/Florida winner (if only 1 loss)
4. Kansas State (if only 1 loss - it's really unlikely to drop this far)
5. Oregon (if only 1 loss)
6. A two-loss SEC team
