If Ohio State, Oregon and Notre Dame all win their games, Rutgers can finish #7 in the Big Ten by beating Michigan State today.
Given all the injuries, Rutgers still salvaged the second half of the season and will get a decent bowl game with a win today.

Just get tge win and 7 wins for the regular season. That was the number most people equated to a good season. Not great, but good.
Then win the bowl- even though they don’t matter that much but 8-5 looks so much better than 7-6

Agree with the premise, but I think the highest we can get is 8th (Illinois and Minnesota both have 5 conference wins)
