like night games at LSU, would you be more favorable towards them? This is from the Bama thread below.

Yes, I know that most people prefer a later game for obvious reasons- tailgating, sleeping in, etc.

But, there is something to be said to the fact that a lot of our bigger wins in school history have come earlier in the day.

1986 Tennessee
1991 Texas
1994 Tennessee
1998 Arkansas
1999 Auburn
2004 Florida
2006 Alabama "The postcard game"
2007 Lucky four- Auburn, Kentucky, Alabama, Ole Miss

This was done without any substantial research, so there may be more, or it could be that we actually have a horrible record in day games.

If we could play all night games... I would love it...Only reason i would agree to play early games if it somehow helped us out... which i think all those wins are coincidences

it destroys any atmosphere going into the game....destroys tailgating....and pretty much just takes the life out of college football at least 12 or later but preferably 2 or later

I hate early games. Perfect for me would be 6pm or later for the first couple of months, maybe some afternoon games for later in the season when it starts to get colder. I generally prefer a night game for atmosphere anyway. On top of that you get to tailgate and don't have to wake up before the sun rises.

70+ love early games because they are up at 4AM anyways. Anything before 2PM is too early. 11AM ruins the entire day especially when we lose.
