With how long this is taking i'm getting the sense that our next head coach is currently under contract with someone else... I could be wrong but who knows. (Ash,Mullen)
This really isn't taking that long. It's been 4 days. Teams have been coach less for much longer.
Mullen makes $4M. We are not going to pay him more. He is not taking a pay cut to come here. My farsical Chip Kelly Scenario is just as likely as Mullen coming to RU
There is no evidence of any other coach we are speculating on wanting the job either so we have no idea. All i know is if we were hiring a coach that wasn't employed right now i think we would have announced it by now.
I am not saying he is coming here, but at $4.2mm, with limited openings, and how badly he wants out, he is almost definitely taking a pay cut to go somewhere. Whether its this year or next.
Just back-load the contract with some B1G-time money when it starts rolling in!
