It's the biggest joke in college football.... well that & the fact that we can't get a playoff.

1) Suh - Nebraska
2) Ingram - Bama
3) Gerhardt - Stanford
4) McCoy - Texas
5) Spiller - Clemson

Somehow Tebow and McCoy will be at the top I have a feeling, but this is how I see it.

is the best defensive player in the country. Somebody asked Pellini after the game about the Heisman and he said, "Suh is the best player at his position in the country if that means Heisman then he should win it." He thought the question about Heisman was stupid and seemed annoyed about it probably because of the outcome of the game.

...he's had a great season but there's 2 other RBs with more yards than him. Also, he's a sophomore. If you're gonna win the Heisman as a sophomore, you've got to have an absolutely ridiculous season kind of like Tebow with is 20+ rushing TD's and 20+ passing TDs in a single season.</p>

I don't think Ingram is the best tailback in the country, maybe not even in his conference. The only reason he's being pumped is because he plays for a team in the title game.

And yea, if you're going to win it as a sophomore, you need to have a sick season in terms of stats and highlight reel plays. He doesn't have that. Give the damn thing to Suh. He's the only player I've seen this year that makes me take a step back and say damn.

Granted I'm a little biased, but I've gotten to see him in person in several games this year and it's a treat. He's a home run threat every time he touches the ball. Quite possibly the most explosive player I've ever had the chance to see. He's a better back than Ingram and the rest of that list hasn't earned it.

Leads the country in yards and touchdowns, and unlike all the other contenders, he doesn't have a good OL, nor any other weapons in his offense to distract defenses. All by himself, he's lead Stanford to an 8-win season.

I hadn't seen a lot of Nebraska this season on TV, but I have never seen a defensive player, much less an interior lineman, dominate a game the way Suh dominated tonight. 12 tackles and 4.5 sacks against the No. 3 team in the country. If the Heisman was a truly fair award, it should be between Suh, Spiller and Gerhart. Hell, I'd vote for Anthony Dixon before I voted for Ingram. Dixon has a better yards per game average and plays on a much worse team.

With a dominating performance in a championship game, NFL teams have to be salivating to get this guy.

He will make some serious $$$$$ at the next level.

I don't think many people understand how difficult it is to get 12 tackles and 4.5 sacks from the DT position. Usually at DT, especially if you're a DT that draws a double team like Suh, your job is to take up space and disrupt so that someone else makes the play. If your DL is great, your LBs should be racking up 15 tackle games. A 5 or 6 tackle game for a DT is a pretty dominant performance, and getting one or two sacks from the DT spot is pretty good. 4.5 sacks and 12 tackles are dominant numbers for an LB or DE, positions that naturally get more chances to rack up stats. From a DT that's just sick.

Mount Cody doesn't have **** on Suh.
