Is it worse than O? Croom? Chizik?

I know Chizik had a solid year this year, but Im still not sold.

Can UT actually hire a coach that OM and MSU fans actually agreed would be a terrible hire for both of their schools? Im pretty sure Dooley's support for a job at MSU was less than 1%.

Is UT that desperate to hire a coach? I still can't get past the fact that he went 4-8 this year at La Tech, and that somehow this makes him a hot name for UT. I just wish my last name was Parcells or Saban, then my coaching career in Madison would probably qualify me for the UT job.

Just glad we have UT on the schedule next year.</p>

Total opposite of Lane. Low profile guy with some coaching pedigree. He may turn out to be a good coach just not a homerun like all the UT fans want but that may be the right move to at least lose all the circus acts surrounding UT and Kiffen.

or even croom level. he's IMO a good young coach. not ready for the sec imo so he might get eaten alive, but IMO he wouldn't be terrible. he's one of the young guys who's name has been coming up as an up and comer,

Not quite up there with Crxxm, but close. Orgeron was a better hire than Crxxm or Dooley (if UT hires him). At least he left you stockpiled with the best talent you've had since the Vaught years.

Lovie was Clay Travis' darkhorse candidate on memphis radio a couple of days ago. I don't care for Clay Travis, but he is well connected with TN.

Being a Bears fan, I can't decide if I would be happy or not if Lovie leaves.

I would think if you are UT and get to this point, you go for some successful coordinator and take a shot. Mahlzan, or some one of that ilk. That's what I'd do at least.
