If the last 5 years are any indication...

Odd Year # of Wins in Regular Season - 5, 6, 6

Even Year # of Wins in Regular Season - 8, 8

Next year sets up again to be another good to great year for State. It seems the even years is when the schedule is in our favor where we have an opportunity to take that next step. Odd years - we have to claw for bowl eligibility as it stands now.

It makes sense. The even years we get Bama and LSU away and we are going to lose those games anyway. Auburn and Arkansas are at home, and we usually play our other eastern opponent(not UK) at home.

I'm a stock trader. So I look at buys and sells on a ticker a lot. When you go to wiki for egg bowl it'll have red for them and maroon for us. It's started off with a lot of maroon. Then a little red started coming in then it became pretty much red, then you start seeing a little maroon again and now it's been more maroon. If history is any indicator I see a lot more maroon in the future for at least the next 10-20 years. I honestly believe in cycles because I see them all the time in trading and in life. Fellas, enjoy it, it's only gonna get better from here on out

I realize he has much, much more experience than Mullen, but Spurrier's 6th season at SC is when they really started taking off. I'm hoping that's an indication, too.
