this game should open your eyes that we have the deadly combination of really bad coaching and lack of talent on both sides of the ball.

The indicators:

1) Lee was pressured all night whether Tenn rushed 3 or 4.

2) Stephens had no such problem with our pass rush.

3) Only once did I see our offensive linemen actually make second efforts to assist Lee on his scrambles.

4) We called it all night (even the woman next to us in the sports bar started calling the plays before hand). First down - 2 yards and a cloud of dust up the middle, second down - scramble with a throw away or 4 yard loss, 3rd down - shotgun incomplete, 4th down punt.

5) Did Dixon look fat?

6) Lee is a walk-on starting for a SEC team. How 17-up is that?

7) Its really bad when people start leaving a sports bar early (after the first pick6).

8) Physically we were out-matched. The Tenn lines were huge.

Absolutely correct. Do you know our longest play that went for a TD this year? If I'm not mistaken, it was a 14 yard run by Dixon against.... well, I'm not gonna say. Just take a wild guess. There's only been one other play over 10 yards - an 11 yard pass to Ducre. We have no playmaking ability whatsoever.

Second sentence is correct but i'm not so sure about the first. Why is this conversation even going on? We dont just suck in certain areas, we suck everywhere. Despite this, you heard Croom try to convince himself (and you, the ignorant fan) that THE MAJOR part of the game plan was "to go over the top of their defense." He actually believed that this pathetically crappy OL he has assembled would give our midget time and a throwing lane to go deep. He believed that.
