This is a public service announcement........................
As I read this board yesterday for everybody's reaction to the LSU game, I am amazed at what some people posted on here.
Now, I rarely post on this page much anymore since I have my own little dark corner of this site now.
But I felt I had to come over today.
First some background for those that may not know me..........
I have been here since 2003. Along with Coach34, Drebin, the late Jackass Bob, and a couple of others, were, from the day that he was hired, the original Croom haters club.
I have done some damn bitching. I love to *****. I have had wars with Goat and Downtown Dog. I have literally cried with laughter at some of Jackbaddawgs rants. I survived the Great Purge by the General a few years back. I was cussed out by the Lipstic Lady. I was involved when Peepin' Croom became legend.
In short, I've been around. I know this place.
I said all that to say what I'm gonna say next to certain people who have discovered or have gotten old enough to join this place in the last couple of years....................bear with me please.

Please imagine this place as a great big tailgate tent. Myself and many others have been tailgating here for a long time. We welcome you to join us, join in all the fun, and become a member of the tailgate.
Now, imagine this is an actual tailgate tent outside the stadium. You stop by. You really don't know anybody. We are all sitting around drinking, eating, watching a game and discussing college football. (We are talking real live actual people.)
Now, would you introduce yourself around and kinda get the lay of the land, or would you just barge in and start spouting off your opinions?
If the latter, you probably would be considered an ******* and subjected to much ridicule and abuse.
So use this as a rule of thumb....... If you <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">wouldn't</span> in real life bust up in some folks tent ,that you don't know, and say the same things you would post on here, don't post it.
Now if it is intelligent and thought out, feel free to share.
Think about if you would say what you post aloud to a group of strangers that allow you to hang out with them.
Hey, I took some lumps when I first joined here. It was a <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">very</span> tight, <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">very</span> small group then and I was most assuredly a stranger and outsider.
But I got the lay of the land and eventually was accepted as one of the boys.
You can too. Just use my rule of thumb.
