The Yogi's biggest problem is why you lost so badly to Texas, a flat Bama squad eeked out a W and why you lost tonight and honestly why i thought UTEP would beat you as well (but then again their starting RB didn't play y'all) is you absolutely can NOT stop the run. Some of that is because of the offense the starting D faces in practice is based off outside sweeps, counter, zone read plays & traps. When you guys face AU Saturday they aren't a spread team. They are going to hang their hat on blowing a lighter OL off the ball between the tackles and run downhill. I actually think you match up well Vs. Troy but i think that we match up better Vs. Texas at home. I could see a 3-1 for both but i think you would've lost to AU and possibly to Troy. Poor coaching errors in personnel are hurting you right now as well. I said the same thing last year for us when we played AU at home and on the goalline play to tie i asked myself "why the he'll is our starting NFL DT on the field as a blocking back?" As someone else already pointed out why the he'll was Densely in on offense? Why is Mackey in at QB Vs. Bama throwing inside when the damn CB lined up inside the WR to take away the slant of mid-post? Sometimes as a coach you over think things. Both were bad calls.

We'd be 5-0, while you'd be 2-3. We're a National Power, you're a Division 1-AA team posing as a BCS skool. You've destroyed the careers of every corch you've had since Johnny Vaught (and nearly killed Vaught himself with a Heart Attack in 1970). Steve Sloan, David Cutcliffe, Houston Nutt, Billy Brewer, and even Ed Orgeron won and won BIG before going to the University of ole miss. While Orgeron and Cutcliffe were able resurrect their careers, it took years to get the Bear stank off of them.
