If there is a lesson to be learned by the NCAA's announcement it is this......

Leave the cheating to the organized guys, who know how to do it. You know, the guys that you absolutely have no idea who they are.

Joe Blow (Herring) does not need to be trying to act like a high roller. Will Redmond got busted for chump change, in reality, because some nobody wanted to try to be cool. That's the fact of the matter.

How do you keep a guy like Devinner from ratting you out?

While I do agree with the point of your post, how do you keep a pos like Devinner from slinging dirt on you? You know the guy could say the same things about a number of players he's handled in the past. I guess it's the risk of dealing with shady characters. Unfortunately, you have to deal with those in recruiting these days. I guess we can only hope that the folks that gave him a reason to rat us out will have the tables turned on them one day...

The lesson I learned is that there is no such thing as "fair".

Maybe we should just be more open with our cheating. You know like having our recruits put wads of money and new cars on Facebook or some other crazy ****.

If there is anybody in this whole novel that needs to get their *** kicked it

is the Fat Bastard and his handlers. I just hope one day the whole truth can see
the light of day. Redmond is getting hammered because he didn't sign where he was
supposed to sign, plain and simple.

Perhaps you don't deal with him? I know, I know, that's too easy. But in the end, it's simple. You simply don't do anything wrong around guys like that. Why use middle men?

Exactly 66!

Mark Dodson is with the Rebs. Fat bastards says nothing of him. Dodson keeps his car and stays out of the NCAA spot light.

I guess it had nothing to do with the fact that DeVinner is a POS...I still can't believe that a certain message board is still dealing with him and used the whole thing to try and get ahead of the competition.

The NCAA just enjoys 17n with us. I guess they need a whipping boy, and we seem to be easy low-hangin fruit.

Because some of the middle men are more like pimps than coaches.

You get some no name person to make the hand offs, instead our guys want to gain notoriety and consequently get busted.

Maybe the lesson here is

you don't put at 20something yr old rookie coach in one of the biggest recruiting cesspools in the country. Then when rookie coach gets in trouble, you don't completely turn your back on him. There is a reason Mullen gets absolutely smoked in recruiting.

You make some good points and you also don't allow Bracky to send an 18 year

old kid to talk to the NCAA without proper representation. They play for keeps.

Or instead give the money to the AD and let our facilities upgrades and coaches handle it. Then run around telling everyone your giving level and where your seats are located for the big three sports.

I wouldn't trust giving a damn Krystal burger to a croot theses days.

We kicked the hornets best that is Memphis high school football. We went in and ruffled enough Rocky Top and Black Bear feathers to the point we got burned.

We'll brush ourselves off, wipe the blood off our lip, and remember it. It's BS like this that keeps us both from being good for an extended period of time. That's fine, like I said, we'll remember it.

You give him whatever he wants. That's how this works. Ever wonder how we get all this information about Auburn and suddenly it all goes away? People get what they want to shut up. Devinner went public because he was making demands that were not getting met.

hire someone to run it

it's basically organized crime overseen by an organization that is as corrupt as the business itself. It's like running to a judge/jury that is already in someone's pocket before the trial starts and expecting justice. It's sleazy beltway politics at its best. Special interest groups run amuck. you get the picture.

I agree with the rest. Hire a criminal defense attorney for Bracky's spot. Give him something else in the athletic dept. That's all about spinning the truth, creating doubt, leaving no trails. Genuinely honest people wouldn't be any good at this type of thing as you can tell. Lawyers, however are great at it.
